Education Building

“Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow.
-Anthony J. D’Angelo

The Marsha J. Shanklin Foundation has provided a significant grant for the completion of the new Marsha Shanklin Education Building at DOCPAC.  Having taught school at the O’Connor brothers’ River Ranch many years ago and with probably her greatest love in life being her sometimes five dogs and a cat, she would be very pleased to be a part of a project that will help educate how to care for pets and provide them a place where their lives will be the highest quality possible before going to loving homes.

The Marsha Shanklin Education Building at DOCPAC is used for:

  • Camp K9
  • Field trip attendance
  • Basic dog classes
  • Education speakers for the public
  • DOCPAC fundraisers
  • Volunteer orientation
  • Volunteer group projects
